Cost to Play
Ultimate is a pretty cheap sport to play, especially if you are just starting out at a university club. With all sports clubs at you university you will have to pay a joining fee.This usually covers the registration fee for the team paid to the BUF and equipment for the club such as cones and discs (Ultimate players don't use the term Frisbee, Frisbee is a brand name of a disc that Ultimate players don't use!).
After the joining fee your only costs will be for alcohol at the social events! Once you get to the stage of attending tournaments you will usually need to purchase a shirt and pay the entrance fee, usually around 10 pounds per person, which is great value for a weekends entertainment.
